Police beat May 28
Disorderly conduct: Douglas D. Vanverth, 36, of Point Marion, was cited for disorderly conduct for allegedly banging and kicking a door at a home at Riviera Mobile Home Park in Dilliner at 1:05 a.m. Monday, state police said. The property owner asked him to leave but he refused, police said.
Fence damaged: A 13-year-old boy is accused of damaging a fence at a commercial building at Plant Road and Bobtown Hill Road, owned by William Colvin of Greensboro, at 5:20 p.m. Friday, state police said.
Public drunkenness: Colton Levi Blumer, 22, of Holbrook, was cited for public drunkenness after he was allegedly found passed out on the west berm of the Interstate 79 southbound lanes at 3:19 a.m. Sunday, state police said.
Theft: A utility trailer parked on Route 188 at the Interstate 79 overpass was stolen between 8:20 p.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. Friday, state police said. The trailer is owned by Ligonier Construction of Laughlintown.
Attempted break-in: Two men attempted to steal two gas cans and enter the home of Peter Bellina on Mt. Morris Road at 7:48 p.m. Thursday, Southwest Regional police said. One man was in his 20s and had a medium build; the other was in his 40s and had a heavier build. They fled in a forest green Ford pickup truck. Warrant arrest: Pamela Lynn Peters, 49, of Fairview, W.Va., was arrested on a Warren County bench warrant May 20 during a traffic stop on Toms Run Road. Southwest Regional Police said Peters was wanted for failing to appear for a court proceeding. She was placed in Greene County jail.
