Mt. Morris man dies after car crash
A Mt. Morris man died in the hospital Saturday from injuries he suffered in a car accident in West Virginia, according to state police in Waynesburg.
Casey Daniel Sharratt, 21, was pronounced dead at 5 p.m. at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. He graduated from Mapletown High School in 2012 and worked for Yost Drilling in Mt. Morris as a derrickhand.
In his immediate family, he is survived by his parents, Shawn Sharratt, of Logan, W.Va., and Donna Johnson, of Mt. Morris, and six brothers and sisters.
