Route 221 reopens in Blaine

The bridge that takes Route 221 over Buffalo Creek in Blaine Township reopened to traffic Tuesday. The previous bridge was demolished in June so a new span could be built. The contractor for the $1.68 million project was Frank Gavlik & Sons of Charleroi.
