Washington County Bar Association and Washington County Bar Foundation, in cooperation with the Washington City Mission, are sponsoring a clothing drive Oct. 22.

Men’s and women’s suits, business attire and business-casual clothing will be collected from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the offices of the Bar Association and Bar Foundation on 119 S. College St., Washington. In addition to roomier closets, donors will receive a charitable contribution deduction and a chance to win raffle prizes.

Donations can also be made directly at the City Mission’s Legal Clinic Closet at 84 W. Wheeling St., Washington, during regular collection hours.

Vouchers will be provided to eligible nonprofit organizations and attorneys whose low-income clients may need court-, interview- or work-appropriate clothing. With the vouchers, clients will have access to this special collection area at the City Mission, where the clothing will be available at no cost. Vouchers are available, on a referral-basis only, to nonprofit organizations and Bar Association members by contacting the Washington County Bar Association or the City Mission.
