The following people appeared recently in Washington County Court on criminal charges. Appearing before Judge Gary Gilman were:

Adam H. Hallberlin, 22, Atlanta, Ga., first offense of driving under the influence; charged Oct. 6; sentence – 18 months of Intermediate Punishment program with first 6 months of electronic home monitoring, $1,500 fine and 12-month Interlock ignition device.

Jonathan R. McAdams, 31, 464 Lone Pine Road, Washington; second offense of driving under the influence; charged Jan. 1; sentence – 18 months of Intermediate Punishment program with first 9 months of electronic home monitoring, $2,250 fine, 12-month license suspension and 12-month Interlock ignition device.

Two people were admitted to the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition program for first offenses of driving under the influence of alcohol. If they successfully complete the program, they can petition the court to have their record expunged.

Kathleen M. Rheam, 58, 175 Bream Road, Washington; was admitted for 12 months; charged April 2.

Bernard S. Edmonds IV, 30, 108 Cancilla Drive, Canonsburg; was admitted for 12 months; charged Aug. 24, 2013

Appearing before Judge Valarie Costanzo were:

Mark A. Ratica Jr., 24, 141 Knob Road, Brownsville; retail theft; charged June 25; sentence – 12 months of probation and banned from Wal-mart.

Sarah Chambers, 18, 401 Woodburn Road, Claysville; false report; charged Dec. 13; sentence – 18 months of probation, 50 hours of community service and no contact with victim.

Jordan L. Santo, 23, 7 Birch St., Charleroi; possession of drug paraphernalia; charged Jan. 2; sentence – 12 months of probation.

Brandie L. Sharpnack, 35, 1005 Third St., Charleroi; possession of a controlled substance; charged Jan. 16; sentence – 12 months of Intermediate Punishment program with first 60 days of electronic home monitoring.

One person was admitted to the ARD program for first offenders.

Shehal M. Patel, 39, 128 Hardwood Drive, Venetia, was admitted for 6 months for a first offense of driving under the influence; charged June 19.

Appearing before Judge Debbie O’Dell Seneca was:

Gregory G. Madler, 43, 141 Druid Drive, McMurray; harassment; charged Jan. 1, 2013; sentence – 12 months of probation.
