Greensboro Farmer’s Market will be from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. today at Gazebo Park on First Street. It will feature end of the season produce from Harden Farm, Halloween mask making with Sara Gianola, mums from Clarks Nursery, treats from Rising Creek Bakery and potions and lotions from Autumn’s Boutique. A yard sale also will be held across from the Ice Plant Pavilion.

Greene County Planning Commission meeting, scheduled for Monday, is postponed until 7 p.m. Oct. 20.

Southwestern Pennsylvania Water Authority will shut off water on Sugar Run Road from Policz Road north for a mile between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Tuesday for system repairs. Customers may experience low pressure or no water and are advised to keep containers of water on hand for personnal use.

Ralph K. Bell Bird Club will hold its next meeting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in the library of the Greene County Historical Museum. The meeting is open to anyone who is interested in birds.

Greene County Humane Society will host a cash bash from 1 to 7 p.m. Oct. 19 in Building No. 9 at Greene County Fairgrounds. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at the shelter or by calling Brad at 724-833-4973. The event will include food and games and is the biggest single-day fundraiser for the society shelter, which operates from donations and community support.
