WAYNESBURG – Greene County Sheriff Brian A. Tennant released the following activity report for September:

• The office processed 73 civil actions and served 68 documents related to civil actions; it processed 12 real estate sales and served papers related to eight real estate sales;

• The office processed five personal property actions and served documents related to three personal property actions;

• It processed 10 protection-from-abuse actions; served papers related to eight protection-from-abuse actions and investigated four protection-from-abuse order violations;

• The office processed 82 licenses to carry concealed weapons and served eight warrants;

• The office assisted four outside agencies and engaged in eight special details;

• It made 31 traffic stops resulting in 22 citations, nine warnings and five arrests;

• Mileage traveled by deputies for the month was 4,324 miles.
