PITTSBURGH (AP) – Officials said two shootings in Pittsburgh left one man dead and three others injured.

Public safety spokeswoman Sonya Toler said police found a man who had been shot in the face in a crashed car Saturday night in the Beltzhoover neighborhood. He was pronounced dead at a hospital.

Toler wasn’t sure whether the man was shot before the car crashed or how many times he was struck.

Police hadn’t identified a suspect as of late Saturday. They also were investigating a shooting earlier Saturday in Arlington Heights.

Toler said three men in their 30s were shot, two in the thigh. They were hospitalized in stable condition. The third man took himself there with gunshot wounds to his arm.

Toler said one shooter left the scene on foot.

She didn’t know whether the shootings were related.
