Jefferson-Morgan dismisses classes early Wednesday following a bomb threat

The Jefferson-Morgan School District evacuated its buildings about 8:30 a.m. Wednesday after receiving a bomb threat. No evidence of a bomb was found after an investigation by state police, but students were dismissed early as a precaution, Superintendent Donna Furnier said in a email response to questions. Classes will resume on a normal schedule today, she said.
