Dog shot: Jason Shriver of Waynesburg told state police his dog was shot and killed by a bow and arrow between Friday and Sunday. Police are investigating the incident.

Rocks thrown: Rocks were thrown through a storm door and a truck window at 175 Meadowbrook Road at about 4:40 a.m. Friday, state police said. The door is at the home of Pamela Kiger and the truck is owned by Charles Shultz of Chartiers Hill, Mather, police said.
