The free community dinner at Throckmorton United Methodist Church scheduled today has been canceled.
A spaghetti dinner will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Nov. 1 at Hewitt Presbyterian Church, Rices Landing. The menu will include traditional spaghetti and meatballs, garlic and oil pasta or anchovy pasta. Cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children 12 and under. Takeouts are available from 3 to 4 p.m.
A representative from the Veterans Administration will be at Carmichaels Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3491 beginning at 11 a.m. Monday to help veterans file claims and answer questions.
