Pleaders sentenced in county court
A number of criminal defendants pleaded guilty Wednesday before Greene County Judge Farley Toothman.They were:
Thomas Michael Rebar, 44, of 914 Arthur Ave., Roscoe; offenses – driving under the influence of alcohol, second offense in 10 years; three summary traffic violations; on April 16, Rebar was stopped on Interstate 79; other drivers noticed his erratic driving and followed him with emergency flashers on to warn others; he had a blood-alcohol content of 0.279 percent; sentence – he will be sentenced following preparation of a pre-sentence report.
Jessica Lynn Robey, 28, of 28 Cumberland Village, Carmichaels; offenses – disorderly conduct and harassment; charges of burglary and criminal trespass were withdrawn; June 6, Robey kicked the door and demanded to be let into a house at 209 Morris Run Road, Wayne Township; she climbed through a window and shoved the occupant; sentence – she will be sentenced following preparation of a pre-sentence report.
Alan Carl Anderson, 64, of 117 Kirby Road, Waynesburg; offenses – DUI, second offense and three summary violations; arrested Feb. 19, Anderson had a BAC of 0.173 percent; sentence – he will be sentenced following preparation of a pre-sentence report.
Christopher M. Dlugokecki, 38, of 376 Tin Can Hollow Road, Rices Landing; offenses – theft and receiving stolen property; Dlugokecki stole a radio, DVDs and a portable DVD player Aug. 6, 2013, from the home of Billie Allen in Cumberland Township, where he installed a deck and lived for a time; sentence – 2 years of probation, $250 fine, 125 hours of community service, $100 in restitution.
Jeremy David Coll, 34, of 314 S. Washington St., Waynesburg; offenses – simple assault, terroristic threats, false imprisonment; on Sept. 7, Coll assaulted his fiancée, hitting her in the head and chest and slamming her head against the wall; he also would not allow her to leave her apartment for six hours; sentence – 35 days to 23 ½ months in jail, credit for 35 days served; $750 fine, 150 hours of community service; he also was ordered to comply with terms of a protection-from-abuse order.
Phillip Henry Stanger, 28, of Clarksville; offenses – theft and criminal mischief; charges of burglary and criminal trespass were withdrawn; Sept. 6, 2013, Stanger broke into an apartment at 114 Long St., Jefferson, and stole computer games, a camcorder, camera and global positioning system; sentence – 30 days to 1 year in jail, credit for time served from June 12 to July 1; $600 fine, 75 hours of community service.
Joseph Ryan West, 28, of 435 Sheridan Ave., Nemacolin; offenses – possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under the influence of a controlled substance; Feb. 14, West was found passed out in a vehicle in the middle of the road in Nemacolin; 61 Clonazepam pills and a marijuana cigarette butt were found in his possession; sentence – time served to 23 ½ months in jail; West was jailed from June 20 to July 9; $1,250 in fines; 75 hours of community service.
