South Strabane Twp. police charge several with retail theft
South Strabane Township police charged several people this week with retail theft for allegedly stealing items from Wal-Mart, Trinity Point.
Rachel M. LeBlanc, 25, of 377 E. Beau St., Washington, is accused of stealing items valued at $347 Sept. 26.
Lee Andrew Watkins, 39, of 37 Old Monongahela Pike, Eighty Four, and Rebecca Jo Smith, 38, of Middlebourne, W.Va., are also charged with criminal conspiracy after they allegedly stole items valued at $317 Oct. 11.
Jonathan A. Casteel, 29 of Uniontown, is charged with two counts. He is accused of stealing items valued at $1,459 on Sept. 14 and items valued at $1,229.50 Oct. 10.
Joshua M. Adolph, 28, of Johnstown, is also charged with defiant trespass after he allegedly stole items valued at $468 Oct. 13. He had been given a notice not to return to the store Aug. 31, police said.
Charges against the four will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.
