WHEELING, W.Va. (AP) — An Ohio County elementary school guidance counselor faces up to 20 years in prison after pleading guilty to federal drug charges.

Thirty-four-year-old Kristyn Elizabeth Fetcko was accused of participating in a prescription painkiller ring.

U.S. Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld II says Fetcko pleaded guilty on Friday to distribution of oxycodone.

Fetcko is a guidance counselor at Ritchie Elementary School in Wheeling. She was suspended without pay in February.

Two co-defendants also entered guilty pleas on Friday.

Sixty-five-year-old Steven L. Namack pleaded guilty to distribution of oxycodone. He faces up to 20 years in prison.

Forty-year-old Adam W. Barnes faces up to four years in prison after pleading guilty to using a telephone to facilitate the distribution of oxycodone.

Another co-defendant, Brian Schultz, is scheduled to stand trial on Sept. 23.
