Assault charges filed in alleged domestic dispute
CRUCIBLE – Cumberland Township police have filed charges against a Crucible man for allegedly assaulting his live-in girlfriend.
Jason Alan Richards, 25, of 203 Third St., is charged with simple assault and harassment for an incident on Sept. 9, according to a criminal complaint filed before Greene County Magisterial District Judge Lee Watson.
Richard’s girlfriend, Raylin Ludrosky, told police she had been out with her friend for the evening and when they got back to Ludrosky’s residence Richards was not there. He arrived a short time later, started to argue with her on their front porch and pushed her down the porch steps.
Police said Ludrosky had a mark and a bruise on her right forearm that she claimed was a result of being pushed by Richards.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Sept. 15 before Watson.
