Threats alleged: Scott Anthony Cook, 52, of 620 Fourth St., Donora, was arrested Tuesday night by Donora police on charges of terroristic threats, harassment, disorderly conduct, defiant trespass and public drunkenness after he allegedly left several threatening voice messages on the cellphone voicemail of April Sepesy. He also reportedly confronted her in person on Fourth Street, pulled out a lighter and threatened to burn down her home. He was arraigned on the charges before District Judge Robert Redlinger and placed in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond.

Motorcyclist injured: David Riggle, 58, of 600 Highland Road, Canonsburg, was injured when his motorcycle struck the back of a car driven by Zora Bevier, 73, of 193 Hunting Creek Road, North Strabane, who stopped to make a left turn from Route 19 to Smith Place about 5:45 p.m. Monday, North Strabane police said. Riggle was taken to Canonsburg Hospital for treatment of a laceration on his face.

Huffing alleged: Mark F. Zadack, 53, of 228 Valley Road, Canonsburg, was charged Wednesday by South Strabane police stemming from an alleged huffing incident Aug. 24. Police received a report of a man in a vehicle in the parking lot of Walmart, Trinity Point. Police said they found Zadack unresponsive. He was taken to Washington Hospital for treatment. Cans of an aerosol cleaner were found in the vehicle, police said. Charges of illegal use of a solvent and possessing a solvent for inhaling toxic vapors will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Theft, conspiracy charges: Patricia Ann Crawford, 20, of 123 Luella Ave., Charleroi, was charged Wednesday by South Strabane police with retail theft and conspiracy after she and Michelle Griest allegedly stole items from Walmart Sunday. Griest, 32, of Charleroi, was taken into custody and placed in Washington County jail on misdemeanor retail theft and conspiracy charges.

Theft: Chris Dimmack told city police about $7,500 worth of lawn machinery was stolen from the 1000 block of Michigan Avenue between 1 p.m. Monday and 7:45 a.m. Tuesday. Police said they have identified two suspects.

Forgery charge: Robert Doty, 28, of 201 Lacock St., Washington, was charged by city police with forgery, access device fraud and receiving stolen property for allegedly depositing a $435 check made out to Brian Snyder into an account for Joseph Landock, whose debit card Doty allegedly used to withdraw money. Doty was arraigned Wednesday by District Judge Robert Redlinger and placed in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond.
