WAYNESBURG – Greene County Sheriff Brian A. Tennant released the following activity report for August:

• The office processed 83 civil actions and served 82 documents related to civil actions; it processed 12 real estate sales and served papers related to eight real estate sales.

• The office processed four personal property actions and served documents related to four personal property actions.

• It processed 22 protection-from-abuse actions; served papers related to 20 protection-from-abuse actions and investigated eight protection-from-abuse order violations.

• The office processed 71 licenses to carry concealed weapons and served four warrants.

• The office transported three SCI-Greene inmates and also assisted four outside agencies.

• The office engaged in six special details, made nine traffic stops resulting in seven warnings and made three arrests.

• Mileage traveled by deputies for the month was 2,958.
