Route 40 work to begin
A long-awaited, $3.6 million project will get under way today to resurface and make other improvements along 10 miles of Route 40 from the intersection of Old National Pike in Donegal Township to West Chestnut Street just past the intersection of Franklin Farms Road, the state Department of Transportation announced.
Drivers will need to be alert for lane restrictions as work takes place. PennDOT will issue updates on this project as work progresses. Lane Construction is the contractor on this project, which is expected to be completed by Oct. 31.
