Cause of death undetermined in Monday crash

1 min read

A Washington man whose body was found in his wrecked vehicle over a hillside in South Strabane Township on Monday did not die of crash injuries.

Washington County Coroner Tim Warco said Wednesday that an autopsy showed that 40-year-old Ethan Anthony Pashke did not have any trauma from the crash. The coroner is awaiting toxicology results in order to rule on the cause and manner of death.

The wreckage of Pashke’s car was found just after 3 p.m. Monday behind a medical office building at 997 N. Main St. by a landscaper cutting grass in the area. Investigators believe his car was there for two or three hours before the landscaper noticed it in the brush.
