Free GED practice tests offered
Intermediate Unit 1 is giving one free General Educational Development practice test to students who come into local adult education class sites. Students who take the practice test can see if they are ready to pass the GED, learn the skills they need to work on to pass the test and get a personalized study plant.
Appointments are needed to take the test. Call the sites below for an appointment and direction. Sessions will be held at:
• Penn Commercial, 242 Oak Spring Road, Washington from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 24 and 1 to 4 p.m. Oct. 1. Call 724-222-5330, extension 356.
• Intermediate Uni 1, One Intermediate Unit Drive, Coal Center, 1 to 4 p.m. Sept. 23. Call 724-938-3241, extension 276.
• Greene County Career and Technology Center, 60 Zimmerman Drive, Waynesburg, from 4 to 7 p.m. Oct. 1 in 724-852-2900, extension 226.
