Victim of apparent overdose identified

A 33-year-old man who died of a possible heroin overdose has been identified by Washington County Coroner Tim Warco.

Joseph Nesbitt of Washington was found unresponsive Sunday evening in a plaza adjacent to Courthouse Square over the county’s parking garage by a 911 dispatcher.

Washington County Coroner Tim Warco said his father was contacted late Tuesday afternoon through AT&T with assistance from the county’s 911 dispatch center using a number found in the victim’s cellphone.
