Cans, batteries stolen: Ashley Dickerson of Beacon Avenue, Canton, told state police Thursday that a bag of aluminum cans and two car batteries were stolen from her property.

Woman charged: Jamie Lemon, 44, of 57 Sycamore St., Muse, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following an incident in the district judge’s office at 3441 Millers Run Road at 10:13 a.m. Tuesday, township police said. Lemon was involved in an argument with another person in the waiting room and brought her dog into the courtroom, police said. An officer noticed that Lemon appeared to be intoxicated, and police said she admitted to driving to the police station. Police said a video from a camera in the officer’s patrol car in the parking lot showed her pulling into the lot and getting out of her vehicle with her dog, and a breath test found her blood-alcohol content to be 0.197 percent. The state presumes intoxication at 0.08 percent.

Distributor cited: The operators of Colonial Beer and Soft Drink Distributors, 305 W. Barr St., McDonald, will be cited for selling alcohol to a 19-year-old Aug. 18. The citation was issued Friday.

Truck rolls: George Bush, 42, of Proctor, W.Va., escaped injury Tuesday afternoon when his truck rolled over on Route 18 (Prosperity Pike) near Cabin Road, Morris. State police said he lost control while trying to avoid a vehicle that was turning in front of his vehicle. His truck rolled on its side, coming to rest against a tree across a driveway. He will be cited with careless driving.

Mower, mower deck stolen: Joshua Clark of Beatty Lane, North Bethlehem, told state police Sunday that his push mower and mower deck were stolen from his property.

Warrant arrest: Andrew M. Novak, 27, of 2108 Jefferson Ave., Washington, was placed in Washington County jail on a bench warrant last week after he was found with another man who was stealing perfume from Macy’s, Washington Crown Center, North Franklin police said. The suspect fled when he slipped out of his coat after being grabbed by store security.

Purses stolen: North Franklin police said a man stole four Michael Kors purses valued at $730 from Marshall’s, Washington Crown Center, Wednesday.

Access fraud: Mackenzie Jan Chronister, 25, of 126 Lindley Road, North Strabane Township, was charged Wednesday by North Franklin police with access device fraud for allegedly using her boyfriend’s debit card without his permission to make a $79 purchase at Gander Mountain, Washington Crown Center.

Bar cited: The operator of Denny’s Roadhouse, 3431 Route 136, Nottingham, received three citations Friday from the state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement stemming from incidents Feb. 16. Liquor was reportedly sold at the bar after hours; patrons failed to vacate within 30 minutes of last call, and patrons were allowed to remove alcoholic beverages from the business after 2:30 a.m.

Retail theft: A man entered CVS pharmacy, 3870 Washington Road, shortly before 6:12 p.m. Wednesday, took a large gift bag from a shelf, placed six electronic toothbrushes in the bag and walked out, township police said. The total value of the stolen items is $634.

Harassment charges: Michael Story Sr., 59, 11 Liberty Ave., Burgettstown, was charged Tuesday by Smith police with harassment and stalking. He is accused of driving around T’s Restaurant, 1849 Route 18, while his estranged girlfriend was dining with a friend Aug. 26. He also is accused of following her to her home as well as homes of her boyfriend and relatives. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Gary Havelka.

Drug charge: Amberly J. Hensler, 37, of Hidden Valley Drive, Union, was charged Wednesday with possession of drug paraphernalia stemming from a Sept. 11 incident at her home. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge James Ellis.
