Police seek CVS robbery suspect

Peters Township police are investigating a robbery at the CVS drug store on Washington Road about 6:45 p.m. Friday in which a man pulled up to the drive-through window and demanded drugs.

According to a CVS employee, the man revealed what was believed to be a gun or a Taser that was concealed in his sleeve. The man, who was driving a red car, made off with an undisclosed quantity of prescription medication, according to a Cecil Township police officer who was assisting Peters Township police.

The employee said the man headed north on Route 19. The type of medication was not disclosed.

The man was described as white, between 50 and 60 years old, and had a heavy build. He was wearing a white ball cap and a blue and white plaid shirt.

The Cecil Township Police K-9 Unit also assisted in the search.
