1 min read

The Rices Landing American Legion Riders will hold a ride to raise money for the Greene County Children and Youth Services’ Angel Tree program.

The ride will be held Oct. 4 and will begin at the Rices Landing American Legion Post 816 in Rices Landing. Registration will begin at 10:30 a.m., and the ride will start at noon.

Following the ride, participants will meet at the legion. There will be food, a 50/50 auction and a silent auction.

The registration fee is $10 a person. All proceeds will be used to purchase gifts for children in the county through CYS.

In case of rain, the event will be held Oct. 11. If raining, participants are asked to call to find out if the event has been rescheduled.

The riders also are seeking contributions from local businesses. Checks can be made to the Rices Landing American Legion Riders, with “Angel Tree” in the memo.
