Man dies after stolen car crashes, burns
PITTSBURGH (AP) – Pittsburgh police said a man died after a car he stole crashed into a church and caught fire.
Authorities said a woman had parked her car to use an ATM in the Perry South neighborhood just before 10 p.m. Friday night, and she returned minutes later to find it missing. Police responded and pursued the car, but they say 43-year-old Christian Davis of Pittsburgh died about 30 minutes later as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.
An autopsy is pending.
