Warrant arrest: Justin Sutton, 33, of Conrad Avenue, Charleroi, was arrested on a Westmoreland County warrant following a traffic stop Friday at State and Main streets, Southwest Regional police said. He was placed in Westmoreland County jail.

Four face charges: Four people face charges after they allegedly had a loud party at their Vulcan Village apartment early Sept. 21 resulting in fights and drug use, California police said. Facing charges of possession of drugs, underage drinking and having a disorderly house are Robert Trevon Bell, 20, of Beaver Falls; John R. Franklin III, 20, of Canal Winchester, Ohio; Nicholas Brendan Gray Grissom, 19, of Cincinnati, Ohio; and Daemond Dominique Pierce, 19, of Chester.

DUI charge: Darren Orvale Lee, 43, of 510 Moore Ave., Canonsburg, was charged Monday by state police with possession of marijuana and driving under the influence of alcohol and marijuana stemming from an Aug. 1 traffic stop on East Pike Street near North Central Avenue, Canonsburg. Police said his blood-alcohol content was almost double the 0.08 percent limit at which the state presumes intoxication. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.

Trespass charge: David Ross Myers, 55, of Canonsburg will be charged by Canonsburg police with criminal trespass after he allegedly forced his way into his former apartment on Blaine Avenue Monday. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.

Burglary arrest: James Lee Blankinsop of 849 Henderson Ave., Washington, was arraigned Monday before District Judge David Mark on charges of burglary, criminal trespass, escape and disorderly conduct after he and Richard Unrue allegedly entered a home at 218 Key Ave., Canton, early Saturday. He allegedly fled when told to stop by police but turned himself in Monday morning at the state police barracks. He was released on $20,000 unsecured bond. Unrue was arrested and arraigned Saturday.

Assault arrest: Clifford Paul Ayers, 37, of 182 Barnett St., Washington, was arrested Monday by state police after he allegedly pistol-whipped Ashly Wilson and punched her in the eye during a confrontation on Barnett near West Wylie Avenue in Canton. He was arraigned before District Judge Gary Havelka on charges of simple assault and harassment. Ayers was placed in Washington County jail on $25,000 bond.

Vehicle hits tree: Township police said Blake Jackson of 21 Shotgun Lane, Washington, crashed his vehicle into a tree off Meddings Road near Route 519 about 10:30 p.m. Monday but was not at the scene when police arrived and was later found at his home. Blood was drawn to determine if he was under the influence of alcohol or drugs, police said.

Tanks damaged: The owner of Dolan Outdoor Service, 1040 Western Ave., told Chartiers police Monday vandals poked holes in the gasoline tanks of two vehicles, causing the gasoline to drain out.

Assault alleged: Whitley Monique Wilson, 25, of 107 S. Main St., Midway, was arrested early Tuesday by McDonald police for allegedly assaulting her boyfriend, Aaron Cooper, also of 107 S. Main, about 12:30 a.m. She also is accused of breaking his lamp and television. She was gone when police were called. When she returned, Cooper again called police, but she left again after allegedly stealing $400. Police said she returned about 2:25 a.m. and struggled with officers as they tried to take her into custody. She was arraigned before District Judge Gary Havelka on charges of simple assault, criminal mischief, resisting arrest, flight to avoid apprehension, harassment, public drunkenness and theft. She was placed in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond.

Pedestrian hit: Sharon H. Tharp, 66, of Center Avenue, Finleyville, was knocked to the ground Monday when she was hit by a vehicle driven by Daniel Ponder Jr., 73, of Seminole Avenue, Washington, in a parking garage at The Meadows Casino, North Strabane police said. She was treated at the scene for bruises and abrasions.

Driver charged: David J. Stark, 48, of 11 Circle Ave., Elrama, was charged by Southwest Regional police with accidents involving injury, reckless endangerment, accidents involving unattended vehicles and duty to give information after he and a passenger allegedly left the scene of a crash Sept. 19. Police found a pickup truck crashed into a utility pole at Route 837 and Stout Street. Police said they later determined the identities of the vehicle’s occupants. Both were injured in the crash, according to police.

DUI charge: Ian Richard Shearer, 20, of Rainbow Road, Monongahela, faces charges after a one-vehicle crash Sept. 6 on Route 88, Southwest Regional police said. Charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, restrictions on alcoholic beverages, underage drinking and reckless driving were filed at the office of District Judge James Ellis.

Drug paraphernalia charge: Elijah Hildebrand, 29, of 128 Statement St., South Strabane, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia about 10 p.m. Monday after Washington police said they found him with a hypodermic needle and 17 empty stamp bags during a traffic stop at East Walnut Street and Lincoln Terrace. Hildebrand was taken to Washington County jail on a probation violation.
