Drug task force makes arrest in roundup
One man was arrested Friday and two others are wanted after police executed three search warrants on what they called known drug houses in Clarksville and South Strabane Township.
In East Bethlehem Township, the Washington County District Attorney’s Drug Task Force served two warrants at 16 Ridge St. and 17 Ridge St. The warrants were the result of several months of investigation into alleged drug trafficking at the locations. Police said they seized heroin, prescription pills, drug paraphernalia, a handgun and an unspecified amount of money from the homes. Still wanted on warrants are James L. Williams Jr., 66, of 16 Ridge St., and Bradley Neal, 39, of 17 Ridge St.
A third warrant was served at 655 Manifold Road in South Strabane Township, where police said they seized 27 stamp bags of suspected heroin, an unspecified amount of money, drug paraphernalia and cellphones. The warrant was the result of an ongoing heroin trafficking investigation. Police arrested Nathan R. Oliverio, 29, of 655 Mainfold, on charges including possession and possession with intent to deliver drugs. He was arraigned by District Judge Curt Thompson and placed in Washington County jail on $25,000 bond.
