Theft: State police filed charges Tuesday against Thomas J. Newell, 52, of 1336 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, for theft of property and receiving stolen property. Police said Newell had a license plate on his sport utility vehicle in July while it was parked along Icebox Road in Jefferson Township that was reported lost to the state Department of Transportation in 2012.

Criminal mischief: A Dilliner woman told state police the windshield of her pickup truck was broken at 4:12 a.m. Tuesday while it was parked in front of her residence at 2450 S. Eighty-Eight Road.

Drugs: Cumberland police said a Carmichaels man sold Subutex to an undercover informant in the township Aug. 31. Lloyd Tedrow, 57, of Route 21 Estates, was charged Tuesday with possession with intent to delivery, criminal use of a communication facility and possession of a controlled substance.
