Country music will be featured from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday at New Freeport fire hall. The Cutups will perform from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and be followed by Bob Podish. Admission is $4. The event benefits the fire department auxiliary.
The board of directors of the auxiliary of Southwest Regional Medical Center will meet at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the hospital’s fourth-floor conference room.
Warrior Trail Association will host a presentation by local historian, Dave Reid, focusing on the Native Americans who once inhabited Greene county. Reid will bring some of his large collection of artifacts. This will be a covered-dish meeting. It will be held at 6:30 p.m. April 16 at the Warrior Trail building in Fordyce. Waynesburg University music program will offer its second chamber works concert of the semester Thursday, April 16, at noon in the Marsh Center in Roberts Chapel. Admission is free and the public is invited to attend the lunchtime concert that includes performances by the beauty and barber shop ensembles, brass ensemble, chamber orchestra, jazz ensembles, vocal and instrumental combos, percussion ensemble, pipe and drum and band woodwind ensemble.
