Woman unaccounted for after fire hits three Pittsburgh homes

1 min read

PITTSBURGH (AP) — Officials say a woman is unaccounted for after a fire ripped through three homes in Pittsburgh.

The woman lived in the Homewood home where the fire started about 3:45 a.m. Tuesday.

Police spokeswoman Sonya Toler says it’s unclear if the woman was home or elsewhere.

Toler says they won’t enter the heavily damaged home until a building inspector determines it’s structurally sound.

Officials say the fire spread quickly from the woman’s home to two neighboring structures.

Residents of those homes were able to escape without injury.
