Man cited for simple assault: Troy L. Celli, 22, of 380B Grant Ave., Nemacolin, was charged simple assault and harassment after Cumberland Township police said he grabbed a woman by the throat and pushed her over a chair during an argument at his home Feb. 6.

Jewelry stolen: State police charged Amanda Lynn Walls, 33, of 121 Second St., Clarksville, Wednesday with theft and receiving property after troopers said she stole jewelry, valuable coins and money from a woman at her Jefferson Township home between Feb. 1 and March 25.
