Drug charge: William Ringer, 31, of 306 Parkview Knoll, Carmichaels, was charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance after Cumberland Township said he sold seven prescription pills to an undercover officer at the Route 21 Car Wash about 4:45 p.m. Friday. Knoll was arraigned by District Judge Louis Dayich and he was released on $6,000 bond.

Criminal mischief: Zachary Stevens, 22, of Fairmont, W.Va., was charged with criminal mischief April 6 after state police said he intentionally drilled holes in the engine of his employer’s pickup truck at a gas station in the 1000 block of East Roy Furman Highway in Franklin Township Dec. 7. Police said the engine immediately began leaking motor oil and the vehicle broke down shortly after. The felony charge was filed through District Judge Glenn Bates’ office.
