Lane restriction in place on Route 40
There is a single-lane restriction on a section of Route 40 (West Chestnut Street) in Canton Township. The restriction is in place to allow crews to perform base repair, milling, concrete patching, pavement markings and other miscellaneous construction. The work is tentatively scheduled to be completed May 23.
Traffic will be controlled by flaggers during the operation. The contractor on the $3.9 million project is Lane Construction Corp.
