The Cornerstone Genealogical Society’s Authors’ Day book signing event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the log courthouse. A story in Thursday’s edition incorrectly stated the event would begin at 9 a.m.
The Carmichaels Area Drama Club will hold “An Evening of Comedy and Tragedy” show at Carmichaels Area School District at 6 p.m. Saturday. Admission is $5, and silent auction and raffle tickets will be sold at the door.
Waynesburg University will host its eighth annual Mini-Relay for Life Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. in the university’s Johnson Commons. Campus organizations will sell food and products as well as host activities to engage the campus and community in the fundraising cause. Organizations are also encouraged to fundraise as teams or individually before the event.
Carmichaels First United Methodist Church Youth Group is planning a “mission trip” fundraising concert at 7 p.m. Friday, April 24. The concert will be held inside the church’s Fellowship Hall at 101 W. South St. in Carmichaels.
