Truck driver released from county jail
The Florida truck driver caught Saturday driving his overweight rig on a Canonsburg street posted with a 10-ton weight limit was released from Washington County jail Thursday morning.
Francisco V. Amareles-Amareles, 58, of Hialeah, was released after his $850 collateral was paid. His tractor-trailer also was released after a check for the balance of the fine was sent by overnight mail to the office of District Judge David Mark.
Amareles-Amareles pleaded guilty Wednesday on the charge of violating weight limits filed by Canonsburg police.
