Teens allegedly start fire: A 13-year-old Strabane boy and two 13-year-old Canonsburg boys admitted to Canonsburg police they started a fire about 6:40 p.m. Monday in a wooded area off Euclid and Adams avenues behind Liberty Lumber. A witness was able to extinguish the fire by carrying buckets of water from a nearby creek. Police will talk with the parents about having the boys clean up the litter along the creek in lieu of filing charges.

Unsworn falsification charge: Francesco Aiello, 49, of Canonsburg, was charged Tuesday with unsworn falsification and illegal sale or transfer of a firearm for allegedly providing false information on an application to purchase a handgun at Reeve’s Sport Shop, Canton, Dec. 12. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.

One injured: Cheryl King, 66, of Ridgeview Avenue, Canonsburg, was injured Monday afternoon when her vehicle went off West Pike Street near North Johnson Road, striking a utility pole, fence and shrubbery. Chartiers police said she may have suffered a medical emergency. She was taken to Washington Hospital for treatment.

Gate reported damaged: A gate at Chartiers Township Volunteer Fire Department, West Pike Street, was reported damaged Monday. Police said it appears a truck ran over it. The gate was on the Short Street side of the fire department property.

Drug arrest: Keith Wilkerson, 55, of 468 Eighth St., Donora, was arrested early Tuesday by Donora police, who stopped him as he rode a pedicycle with no lights on Sixth Street at Allen Avenue. Police said he had a rock of crack and drug paraphernalia. He also was wanted on a bench warrant. He was arraigned on charges of possession of crack and paraphernalia as well as a stop sign violation before District Judge Robert Redlinger and placed in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond.

Guns reported stolen: Robert Rudy told state police Saturday his business, Rudy’s Fabricating and Machine, 40 Fishpot Road, East Bethlehem, was broken into and several guns were stolen.

Teen charged with DUI: Allie Patrone, 18, of Coraopolis, was charged Monday by Mt. Pleasant police with driving under the influence of alcohol, minor not to operate a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, underage drinking, careless driving and failure to drive at a safe speed. Police said they stopped her about 1 a.m. April 12 after she was spotted speeding through the intersection of Noblestown Road and Johns Avenue. Police said her blood-alcohol content was 5 ½ times the 0.02 percent limit at which intoxication is presumed in anyone under the age of 21. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Dutton.

Man charged: Wayne Price, 56 , of Pittsburgh, was charged Monday by Mt. Pleasant police with criminal mischief and trespass by motor vehicle stemming from an alleged Dec. 11 road rage incident. He is accused of doing $1,400 in damage by driving through a yard at 555 Westland Road. He and the homeowner had an agreement Pricewould pay for the damages, but he never did, police said.

Disorderly conduct charge: John R. McFall Jr., 38, of North Franklin, was charged Tuesday by North Franklin police with disorderly conduct and public drunkenness after he allegedly broke a front door at a home on Hamilton Street Sunday and shoved several people. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Trespass charge: Bianca L. Willis, 45, of 52 Highland Ave., Washington, was charged with disorderly conduct and criminal trespass after she allegedly created a disturbance at her former workplace, the Comfort Inn & Suites, North Franklin Drive, April 16. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Theft, paraphernalia charges: Kristin Maria Leigh Mull of 86 S. Wade Ave., Washington, was arrested Monday afternoon by South Strabane police on charges of retail theft and possession of paraphernalia. She and an alleged accomplice are accused of stealing a television valued at $998 from Walmart, Trinity Point. She also allegedly had two needles. She was arraigned before District Judge Robert Redlinger and placed in Washington County jail on $5,000 bond.

Prowler spotted: Washington police said a man dressed in dark clothing and carrying a dark case was spotted about 3:25 a.m. Tuesday on roofs of homes on May Avenue. Police spotted a man matching the description in the 700 block of Ewing Street. He fled from police, who were able to identify him. Charges of loitering and prowling at night, attempted burglary and possessing instruments of a crime are pending against the Washington man.

Harassment, disorderly charges: Suzanne Ward, 36, of 73 Leet St., Washington, will be charged by Washington police with harassment and disorderly conduct after allegedly hitting Shiann Husman of Canonsburg during an incident Monday at Washington Hospital. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Wallet stolen: David Shaw of Canonsburg told Washington police Monday the window of his vehicle was broke with a brick and his wallet was stolen while the vehicle was parked at 801 N. Main St.
