Ortitay to hold small business seminar

State Rep. Jason Ortitay, R-South Fayette, will hold a small business seminar to foster discussion on the issues facing entrepreneurs and small businesses in the area on May 8.

Ortitay, who is a small business owner, is encouraging other small business owners to attend and ask questions.

The seminar will be held at the Bridgeville Public Library, 505 McMillen St., Bridgeville. Registration and a continental breakfast will begin at 7:30 a.m. and a panel discussion will begin at 8 a.m. Panelists will include Rep. George Dunbar, D-Westmoreland County; Steve Shivak, president of SMC Business Councils; Neal Lesher, legislative director of the National Federation of Independent Businesses of Pennsylvania, and Raymond Vargo, director of the University of Pittsburgh Small Business Development Center.
