Police beat April 29
Harassment: Loretta Louis Horner of Bobtown was cited for harassment after she allegedly became involved in an altercation with a juvenile at 7:08 p.m. Sunday at 274 Duff St., state police said.
Theft: An orange, Delta job box containing several shackles and slings was stolen from a Red, White and Blue Crane Co. truck being serviced at Ron Lewis Automotive at 1625 E. High St. between March 5 and April 18, state police said. Anyone with information is asked to call state police at 724-627-6151.
Harassment: Daniel Wayne Ealy, 29 of Waynesburg, was charged with public drunkenness and harassment following a disturbance on Sugar Run Road at about 3:45 a.m. Tuesday, state police said.
Theft: Rachel Marie Hopkins, 33, of 111 Renner Creek Road, New Freeport was charged with theft and forgery for allegedly altering the amount on 16 of her employer’s checks to receive $1,487 between May 1 and Oct. 24, state police said.
Single-car crash: State police said Tammy L. Rodriguez. 48, of Crucible, was uninjured following a single-car crash on Ferncliff Road. Rodriguez was driving west before midnight April 22 when her vehicle crashed into a rock wall barrier near Rices Landing Road. Police said charges are pending against Rodriguez after she left the scene and was later stopped by Cumberland Township police.
Endangering: Nicholas Henderson, 20, of 390 Mt. Morris Road, was charged with endangering the welfare of child, operating an all-terrain vehicle on the road and other charges after he allegedly drove an ATV on Mt. Morris Road on April 7 and 8 with a child as a passenger, Southwest Regional police said. Neither Henderson nor the child was wearing a helmet, police said.
Items stolen from car: Several items were stolen from an unlocked car parked at 1 Wheeling Creek Road in Springhill Township April 21 or 22, state police said.
