Social Service League golf tournament

The Waynesburg Social Service League will hold its 23rd annual Golf Tournament Saturday at Rohanna’s Golf Course on Rolling Meadows Road in Waynesburg.

Registration for the tournament will begin at 8 a.m. and the four-man scramble, shotgun start will be at 9 a.m.

The day will include 18 holes of golf, a cart, doughnuts and coffee, lunch and refreshments. The entry fee is $280 a team.

First Federal Savings and Loan Association of Greene County is the sponsor of the hole in one prize. The first place team will receive a cash prize of $300. Skill prizes as well as prizes from random drawings will be awarded.

The Social Service League is a nonprofit women’s organization founded in 1921 by the late Josephine Denny to benefit the children of Central Greene School District.
