Eat ’n Park in South Strabane robbed at gunpoint Wednesday night

South Strabane Township police are looking for the man who robbed the Eat ‘n Park on Oak Spring Road Wednesday night.
Detective Ken Torboli said the man, wearing gloves, blue jeans and a hooded shirt with his face covered with a bandana, walked into the restaurant at 320 Oak Spring just after 10 p.m. with a gun and demanded that the manager open the safe. After being given an undetermined amount of cash, the robber fled on foot. Torboli said no vehicle was seen in the area.
Police recovered a handgun believed to have been used by the robber. Torboli said it was a non-operable weapon.
The robber is in his early to mid 20s and about 5 feet, 5 inches to 5 feet, 7 inches tall. Anyone with information is asked to call township police at 724-225-8111.
