New traffic configuration on Route 50 in South Fayette

1 min read

There will be a new traffic configuration on Route 50 in South Fayette Township starting at 7 a.m. Monday, weather permitting.

All traffic will be shifted onto the westbound lanes with a single, 11-foot lane maintained in each direction as crews begin work on the eastbound lanes. A temporary barrier will be installed between the lanes of traffic. This configuration will remain until late October.

This is part of a $19.04 million project to reconstruct the road and make other improvements from the Washington County line to Millers Run Road. The project, done by Golden Triangle Construction will conclude in late October.
