No pants gets Washington Co. man in trouble
A Robinson Township man was arrested for the second in just over a month after McDonald police received a complaint he was again walking naked outside his house.
Robert Neil Bozic, 61, of 9312 Noblestown Road, was arrested Thursday on a charge of open lewdness and disorderly conduct.
Police received information Wednesday a man was standing naked outside on his porch. The woman who saw Bozic said he then walked to his van, which was parked on Taylor Road, and walked around it, while wearing nothing. When police tried to contact Bozic, they were unsuccessful. A witness told police 15 minutes after the officer left, Bozic came back outside wearing pants and a flannel jacket with no shirt.
Bozic also was arrested July 9 on charges of open lewdness. Police were called about 7:30 a.m. for a report of a nude man outside of a house. The police officer saw Bozic come out of his home and walk around the side of his residence. He was only wearing an unbuttoned, long-sleeved shirt.
When the officer tried to talk with him, Bozic reportedly went back inside his house. Several minutes later, he came out a basement door wearing shorts. When the officer told him he was under arrest, Bozic reportedly responded,”All of this because I was outside my house naked.”
Police said they received complaints in the past about Bozic being outside his house while naked. Police also noted he lives on a busy road in a residential neighborhood.
Bozic, who was free on $2,500 unsecured bond from the July arrest, was arraigned before Senior District Judge Jay Dutton and released on $5,000 unsecured bond. He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on both sets of charges Sept. 10 at Dutton’s office.
