Gun stolen: David Paul Moskal, 1333 Main St., Burgettstown, told McDonald police Thursday his black 9 mm Taurus handgun was stolen from the center console of his pickup truck while it was parked outside his home. Two magazines also were stolen, police said.

Home entered: McDonald police said they received a call Wednesday of an attempt to break into a vacant house next to the American Legion on North Main Street, Burgettstown.

Vehicle damaged: Suzanne Compeggie, of 417 Giffin Ave., told Canonsburg police Thursday vandals damaged her vehicle.

Paraphernalia charge: William Lowe, 34, of 372 Cunningham Road, Claysville, was charged Thursday by North Franklin police with possession of paraphernalia and disorderly conduct after police received a complaint he was shooting heroin in a parking lot at 1294 W. Chestnut St. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Indecent exposure: Southwest Regional police said a motorist on Route 88 near Hobbit Lane, Union, reported seeing a white man wearing a neon blue T-shirt, jeans and work boots exposing himself. Police also learned he was across from Ringgold Middle School while standing in a clearing between a ball field and St. Francis of Assisi Church. Police said he was short, in his mid- to late 40s, balding with a long,dark beard. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-929-8484.

Mother charged: Patricia Anna Dillard, 35, of 120 Church St., Washington, was charged Thursday by city police with reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct after she allegedly encouraged her 15-year-old son to fight a 14-year-old boy outside 109 Church July 31. She also reportedly videotaped the assault, in which the younger boy was injured, police said. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Business burglarized: Washington police are investigating a reported burglary at Gypsy’s Heavenly Delights, 1006 W. Chestnut St. The owner discovered the break-in Thursday morning. It appears the burglar entered through the roof. Cash was stolen from the business.

Bicycle stolen: William Unrue of Extension Avenue told Washington police early Friday his blue and white Roadmaster mountain bicycle was stolen from outside his home.
