Inbound Parkway West closure planned this weekend
The inbound side of the Parkway West (Interstate 376) and Fort Pitt Tunnel will be closed from Friday night through Sunday morning, weather permitting.
Crews will do shoulder reconstruction work starting at 9 p.m. Friday through 11 a.m. Sunday between the Greentree/Mt. Lebanon and Interstate 79 interchanges. All inbound traffic will be detoured.
There also will be a single-lane restriction on the outbound side between the tunnel and Banksville Road interchange starting an hour after the end of Friday’s Pittsburgh Pirates game through 2 p.m. Sunday.
Drivers should allow extra time and expect delays.
