Parkway West closures announced
There will be overnight closures and single-lane restrictions are planned on the Parkway West (Interstate 376) through Thursday night, weather permitting.
A full outbound closure will be from 9 p.m. today to 6 a.m. Wednesday from the Fort Pitt Bridge and including the Fort Pitt Tunnel, with a single-lane restriction on the inbound side from Interstate 79 to the Fort Pitt Tunnel.
A full inbound closure will be from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Wednesday and Thursday nights from I-79 to the Fort Pitt Bridge, including the Fort Pitt Tunnel. A single-lane restriction is in effect during the same hours on the outbound side.
A detour will be posted. Drivers should allow extra time to travel through the area.
