WAYNESBURG – A Clarksville man pleaded guilty Tuesday before Senior Visiting Judge Hiram Carpenter to charges of forgery and theft.

Dominique Orlando Cage, 20, of 231 Second St., was sentenced to time served, or 26 days, to 23 ½ months in jail.

He also was fined $500 and ordered to pay $739.88 in restitution.

On Dec. 15, Cage used two stolen checks from the account of his girlfriend’s father to purchase items at the Walmart stores in Waynesburg and Belle Vernon.

Cage was identified as the person who issued the checks by the stores’ surveillance cameras.
