2 min read

WAYNESBSURG – State police are seeking information on a man with a prosthetic arm who attempted to assault a woman about 2 p.m. Wednesday at the produce stand at Route 21 and Elm Drive in Franklin Township.

The man driving a dark green pickup truck pulled into the parking area, motioned the woman over to his vehicle and began to talk with her, state police said. He kissed the woman’s hand and made several sexual comments before attempting to grab her breast.

The man was described as white and possibly in his 70s. He has a thin build, very short salt and pepper hair and a small jaw-line beard. He wore glasses, a flannel, button-down shirt and khaki-colored shorts.

His pickup truck was full-sized with an extended cab, police said. It was hunter or dark green and had a black, bucking bronco emblem or decal on its driver’s side rear fender.

Anyone with information is asked to call Trooper Daniel Barnhart at the Waynesburg barracks at 724-627-6151.
