Washington firefighters train W & J resident assistants
Drivers passing through the East Lincoln Street area and the Washington & Jefferson College campus Saturday morning likely saw students on the sidewalk and fire trucks in the area.
But there was no fire nor false alarm. Fire Chief Linn Brookman said the firefighters were conducting their annual training of resident assistants for the upcoming year in fire safety and how to use fire extinguishers.
