NEW BRIGHTON (AP) – Authorities say a man was taken into custody after a woman was stabbed to death during an altercation at a Western Pennsylvania apartment building.

Police in Beaver County said they were called to the Mulberry Apartments in New Brighton at 11 p.m. Saturday and found a woman stabbed multiple times.

She was taken to Heritage Valley Beaver hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Her name was not immediately released pending notification of her family.
