Case moves to county court
CHARLEROI – A Bentleyville man charged in an armed robbery at a Fallowfield Township pizza shop waived his right to a preliminary hearing Tuesday, moving his case to Washington County Court.
Chad Coyle, 44, of 13 Hillman St., is accused of ordering an employee of Diddlebug’s Pizza to give him money from the cash register about 3:40 p.m. Nov. 17, court records show. He then fled the business at 1629 Route 481 in a blue Chevrolet station wagon.
The gun appeared to be a semiautomatic handgun, but it turned out to be a pellet gun.
Coyle waived his case before District Judge Larry Hopkins.
